Questions
Common questions about payments.
Which payment gateways can we use?
Stripe and Stripe Connect, plus local gateways: Xendit, Midtrans, DOKU, iPaymu, Techrar, Viva and Sumopod. You can connect more than one and set the order they're tried in.
Can players split the cost of a court?
Yes. Each player can pay only their own share, or one player can pay for the entire booking. The organizer can also pay a partner's share. If some shares are still unpaid at the deadline, the booking stays confirmed and those shares stay open for the organizer. If nobody has paid, the slot is released.
Can we take a deposit instead of the full price?
Yes. Set a deposit between 1 and 99% of the booking. Players pay it upfront and settle the rest at the venue or through a follow-up payment link, with optional reminders when it's overdue.
How do refunds work?
You set one refund policy for the venue: where refunds go (wallet, original payment method or the customer's choice), the default refund percentage, a minimum refund amount, any fee and the refund window. Individual services can override it.
Do you handle VAT and invoices?
Yes. Prices can be VAT inclusive or exclusive, at the rate you set for each court, lesson or item. Invoices are numbered PDFs with your logo that customers download after paying. Add a VAT number and they become simplified tax invoices, with the ZATCA QR code for venues in Saudi Arabia.
Do pay links go out automatically?
No. Staff and coaches share them on WhatsApp from their own phone, with the message already written. The player taps the link, pays on the hosted checkout and gets a receipt.
